As a pro-active approach to the mental and behavioral health of children and families, we provide Behavioral Health Intervention Services. The goal of these services is to keep children in the home and out of the system through education, skill-building, and by providing the necessary support to ensure long-term success. Life-Line Resources has a vast amount of experience in working with culturally diverse populations, not only because the staff that represents Life-Line Resources comes from a variety of backgrounds, but also because we train our staff specifically on how to enter in and work within culturally diverse population.

Life-Line Resources is very intentional about recruiting staff from different cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds and in continually diversifying our workforce.  Lifeline Resources views our ability to understand a community’s needs and our ability to provide necessary resources as a strength of our agency. As a result, we are able to ensure the children’s connections to their family, friends, neighborhood, community, cultural heritage, and faith, are maintained. Additionally, we work to connect families to informal support systems within their communities to promote family self reliance. For example, Spanish speaking families do not understand that there are so many different opportunities and resources available for them in their communities because of the limitations placed upon them due to the language barrier. As an agency, we will break through the language barrier and assist the family with whatever they need in order to succeed.
